Jenni Dobson
I’m a widow in my late 70s, with four children, 7 grandkids and one great-granddaughter. I’ve always written stories, even in primary school.
I studied Art & Textiles at college then part-time training to teach adults honed my writing skills. I’ve written scripts for training videos, articles for special interest magazines then later special interest books. I enjoy creative writing whether fictional – such as my novel – but sometimes prompted by family history discoveries: an ongoing project. My children’s book Rainbow Zoo was an enjoyable outcome of the Covid epidemic. I’d already written the words but the illustrations were a product of lockdown mainly painted during Saturday afternoon zoom calls with my daughter in the USA.
